Writing pedagogy in contemporary university education includes grammar as well as rhetoric. The paper shares two techniques for first-year English courses designed to improve student writing. A recipe approach to paragraph writing is used in introductory courses. Lab report writing is used in intermediate courses.}, pages = {261--268}, title = {Logic in Undergraduate Writing Education}, volume = {2}, year = {2019} }
