In the meantime, it has also added the Chinese cultural elements and continuously tried to show the world a distinctive ballet with its own style. Leaded by the National Ballet of China, the Chinese ballet has been creating ballets with Chinese cultural elements especially. From the year of 1990 the development of the society leaded to the prosperity of the Chinese ballet. And a great number of characteristic ballets have sprung up. Among these ballets, The Crane Calling (2015) has become a representative excellence in the latest ten years. This thesis analyses the choreography of this ballet.
