 note = {This paper focuses on multiple perspectives in Byōsōbi, Michiyo Mori’s self-representation novel, and discusses the three scenes where Japanese and Chinese women writers face each other. After clarifying how the three encounters are narrated, how the images of others and the self-image in the novel are constructed in an interlocking system, it analyses the meaning that is attributed by Michiyo Mori to the deviations between events in reality and fiction.
