He became popular after publishing a short story known as \"Chenlun\" in October, 1921. Although there are some studies considering the relatoion between Katai Tayama's \"Futon\" and there is a Dafu Yu's \"Chenlun\", and also a comparative study of \"Shoujo Byou\" and \"Yinhuisedesi\" as a work just before \"Futon\" and \"Chenlun \", Katai Tayama's comparative study of \"Shoujo Byou\" with \"Chenlun\" has not been found.
