He is well known as a writer of Chinese poetry in the Edo period. In this paper, I will analyze three events that connect him to Korea at three different times, 1. in 1764, 2. from 1781 to 83, and 3. in 1791. 1. First, during a diplomatic mission to Japan from Korea in 1764, a murder took place in Osaka in which Tsushima samurai killed a member of the mission. For those members of mission that wanted to know in detail the progress of the case, BAISO Kenjyo made a record of the murder case and presented it to them. They read it and gave it high praise. 2. Later, BAISO Kenjyo went to the Itei-an Temple (以酊庵) in Tsushima on rotation duty (輪番制 rinbansei), and there he conducted interviews with Korean castaways. The Chinese poetry he wrote during that time reflects the warmth BAISO Kenjyo felt for these castaways. 3. Finally, from 1764 he was involved in planning of the diplomatic missions to Japan from Korea. When the ministers of the Edo Shogunate consulted BAISO Kenjyo, he explained the history of Japan-Korea relations in terms of the conquest of Korea by Empress Jingu (三韓征伐 sankanseibatsu). It is important to note that conflicted views of Koreans coexist within the one person.","subitem_description_language":"en","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_9_identifier_registration":{"attribute_name":"ID登録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_reg_text":"10.18999/juncture.5.38","subitem_identifier_reg_type":"JaLC"}]},"item_9_publisher_32":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"名古屋大学大学院文学研究科附属「アジアの中の日本文化」研究センター","subitem_publisher_language":"ja"},{"subitem_publisher":"Japanese-in-Asia Cultural Research Center, Graduate School of Letters, Nagoya University","subitem_publisher_language":"en"}]},"item_9_select_15":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_select_item":"publisher"}]},"item_9_source_id_7":{"attribute_name":"ISSN(print)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"1884-4766","subitem_source_identifier_type":"PISSN"}]},"item_access_right":{"attribute_name":"アクセス権","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_access_right":"open access","subitem_access_right_uri":"http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"池内, 敏","creatorNameLang":"ja"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"95693","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"IKEUCHI, Satoshi","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"95694","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2020-01-27"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"JunCture5_5.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"607.3 kB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"JunCture5_5.pdf","objectType":"fulltext","url":"https://nagoya.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/29148/files/JunCture5_5.pdf"},"version_id":"aeca2459-6247-484f-8b56-671c8bddb7b1"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"BAISO Kenjyo (梅荘顕常)","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Korean diplomatic missions to Japan","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Itei-an rotation duty (以酊庵輪番制 itei-an rinbansei)","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"the conquest of Korea by Empress Jingu (三韓征伐 sankanseibatsu)","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Korean castaways","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"梅荘顕常と朝鮮","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"梅荘顕常と朝鮮","subitem_title_language":"ja"}]},"item_type_id":"9","owner":"1","path":["2470"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"PubDate","attribute_value":"2020-01-27"},"publish_date":"2020-01-27","publish_status":"0","recid":"29148","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["梅荘顕常と朝鮮"],"weko_creator_id":"1","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-01-16T04:22:18.330791+00:00"}
