The system consists of commercially available smartphone device and LSPIV application software. The software utilizes a camera and other sensors embedded in the smartphone. The image captured by the camera is automatically ortho-rectified with support from positional information obtained by the sensors, then velocity distribution is estimated at every moment. The performance of the developed system is verified through a rotating image test.
