The results of logistic regression analysis and multiple correspondence analysis first revealed that those who had decided the industry they wanted to work for and the job category they wanted to work in had already cultivated their attitudes of actively spending their college lives to fulfill both studies and extracurricular activities at the “early” stage and that there was a difference at the start between those who had decided them and those who had not. Furthermore, it was presumed that the students who “had thought about their future” when they were at “junior high school or before” or “high school” were trying to strike a balance between the club or circle activities and the part-time jobs as extracurricular activities on top of their learning. Therefore, it was revealed that since the students in this group had made early career decision, this group was different from other groups at the early stage of their college lives. On the other hand, it was presumed that students who had not decided their career at the first half of the college were highly likely to think about their career by themselves as they developed their specialized learning.While these results indicated that early career decision is critical and affects the way how the students spend their college lives, a college life is also “a place where a new identity is created” and “a place where a true identity is discovered through formal education and extracurricular activities.” Accordingly, it is important that the way how a student spends his/her college life be left to his/ her autonomy and necessity of separately considering the college life from the perspective of early career decision was proposed. In addition, it is thought that the ideal way the college education ought to be including the way how students spend their college lives should be examined based on educational philosophy at each college suited to the characteristics of their students.}, pages = {25--35}, title = {就職に対する意識の違いが大学生活の過ごし方に与える影響 : N大学生調査から考察する早期の職業決定の是非}, volume = {43}, year = {2020} }
