In the former part, Prof. Kazuyo Tachikawa, a director of the CEREGE, Aix Marseille Univ/CNRS/ IRD/CdF, gave a special lecture on marine geochemistry, and Prof. Naomi Harada, a director of the Earth Surface System Research Center, JAMSTEC, gave a talk on the activities of the Antarctic research expedition.
