The incoming hypersonic flow consists of a uniformly-premixed stoichiometric oxyhydrogen mixture diluted by 70% Argon of a Mach number higher than its Chapman-Jouguet value 4.8. Varied parameters are the nose radius, wedge angle, and the Mach number and temperature of the incoming flow.
