For this nationality, it is tradition to maintain its own ethnic identity、which has made Korean Chinese distinct from other minority groups. The identity formation of Chinese Koreans is mainly due to the ethnic education conducted at many Korean schools. However, there have not been much studies done to clarify what kind of teaching plan and what kind of textbooks are in use and how teaching practices are carried out at these Korean schools.
