Educational support and psychotherapeutic support is required for educational counseling but educational counseling won't be able to treat the client. The purpose of the paper is to clarify the role of psychotherapeutic interviews in educational counseling. And it is to investigate the significance of introducing "the encouraging support" in the field of educational counseling, and to examine recognition from the viewpoint of support in the case. There is some agreement and disagreement about educational support and psychotherapeutic support in educational counseling, and this support is expected for many things. The role of psychotherapeutic interviews tends to be unclear there. Therefore, it was supported to stabilize of the clients' mental health, and it was introduced in the encouraging support in the psychotherapeutic interviews. One client with school refusal was encouraged to go to school by proceeding with a therapist, some teachers and his family. He attended school after a while, and he could graduate school. It was carried out consultation of educational support and psychotherapuetic interview in educational counseling well.
