In case of embankment structures, it is necessary to evaluate the seismic performance of embankments considering ground condition of each site. As a result, it is imperative to perform the geologic reconnaissance in all embankments, and a great amount of cost, time, and effort is required in the light of the conventional method. In this research an information support system based on existing data has been established to select seismic reinforcement sites from the embankments on the soft subsoil or on the ground having the possibility of the liquefaction. So far these existing data were managed separately, but the developed information system can make it possible to manage information unitarily and to display information on the map visibly.
