The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has divided the world into five regions, and is working toward improving corporate governance, for example, through the OECD Corporate Governance Principle. In particular, the Eurasian region, which includes nine countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Mongolia, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan), has abruptly developed a number of economic situations, but no research is dedicated to corporate governance in these countries.  This paper aims to clarify how these nine countries promote the discussions on corporate governance. First, how corporate governance principles initiate a white paper in these countries is considered. Second, the management structures of the nine countries are examined. Third, the practices of “reform on management structure” and “advancements on transparency and disclosure ” are investigated.  Results showed that simply advancing stockholder rights and the top management structures is insufficient.
