In addition, practically every study that examined the resource exchange theory had been conducted in the West. This study aimed to categorize exchange resources among the Japanese. In study 1, in order to identify the representatives of these resources, forty-nine undergraduates were asked to respond freely to questions about behaviors that they were able to recall. In study 2, a total of 156 undergraduates were asked to rate the similarity of all possible combinations of these representatives’ pairs.. The data were analyzed using multidimensional scaling method, and a three-dimensional solution was used to represent the set of rating scales. Of the three dimensions, two were consistent with the original resource exchange theory. The third dimension was constructed availability. Furthermore, these results were affected by the categories and the manner in which the resources were treated. The findings of this study indicate that one resource has several meanings. The implications for the possible applications of the theory were discussed., 国立情報学研究所で電子化したコンテンツを使用している。}, pages = {163--170}, title = {資源交換理論に基く資源分類の再考}, volume = {53}, year = {2006} }
