 note = {地理情報システムの利用が広がり, さまざまな都市情報が蓄積され始めているため, ネットワーク上に分散した都市情報のデータベースを効率良く管理することができる分散型都市データベースの構築が重要となってきている.一方, インターネット上の新しい情報リポジトリとして, LDAP(Lightweight Directory Access Protocol)ベースのディレクトリサービスのシステム(以降, LDAP)が注目されているが, LDAPは分散されたでデータベースを管理するのに有用な特徴をいくつか持っていると考えられる.本論文では, LDAPをデータベース管理のコアとして利用することで, 効率的な分散型都市データベースの構成を提案するとともに, 試作システムを開発した.試作システムの都市データベースはデータ提供サイトと管理サイトから成る.管理サイトは, データ提供サイトに分散されたデータベースが1つのデータベースとして機能するように管理する.我々はLDAPをコアとして管理サイトを構築するので, 都市情報の分野で利用するためにLDAPの機能を拡張する.システム試作の結果, LDAPの利用により効率的に管理システムを構築することができ, 拡張機能は分散型都市データベースに有効であると分かった., In recent years, the use of the geographic information has been spreading and various urban information has begun to be stored. Therefore, importance of building distributed urban databases that can manage the database of urban information distributed on the network efficiently has been growing. On the other hand, a directory service based on LDAP(Lightweight Directory Access Protocol)(hereinafter referred as to LDAP)has attracted attention as a new information repository on the Internet. LDAP has some useful features to manage distributed databases. In this paper, we propose an efficient structure of distributed urban database system using LDAP as a core of database management, and developed a prototype system. The prototype urban database system consists of data provider sites and a management site. The management site uniformly manages distributed databases provided by several data providers. We constructed complimentary function for effective usage of the urban information. As a result of the prototype system, we proved that a management system of a distributed urban database based on LDAP was easily developed and a complimentary fuction was effective in a distributed urban database.},
