Some of the knowledge is formalized, such as papers and reports, and in many cases, it is stored as electronic documents. On the other hand, the unformalized-knowledge is not kept, however, it probably includes important information that, should be shared by members in the research group. In this work, we note this part of knowledge, and propose a system to manage it. The functions provided by the system are: storing unformalized-knowledge as memos attached to electronic documents, and linking documents with memos. Therefore, the system not only provides auxiliary information to documents, but also makes linkage between them, clustering documents into new sets. By using this system and analyzing its working results, we aim at supporting research activities.
