A NavI-CAD system assists image diagnosis and augments doctors' diagnostic processes by displaying assistance information such as positions of abnormal regions, paths to desired points, and locations of important organs around the viewing area in the navigation of a virtual human body. This system enables us to assist endoscopic examinations by combining it with an endoscope navigation system.
