New technology of casting bronze as building Buddhist temples and manufacturing statues of Buddha was transferred from the Korea Peninsula when Asukadera temple was established in late of 6th century. Products of these new technologies were mirrors of Tang style, roban (the finials of pagodas), gilt bronze statues of the Buddha, bells of Buddhist temples, and so on. In ritsuryo system, domestic organ of Emperor managed such new technology. But Emperor did not monopolize it exclusively.
