 note = {The Yangtze River Delta is one of the most important economic areas in China, where the manufacturing industry has become a strong driving power of the Chinese economic development. So far, the manufacturing industry in the Yangtze River Delta area has been the main industry to absorb massive labor force. However, with the growth of the service industry in this area, the labor force absorption capability of the service industry has been continuously strengthened. Is the service industry supplanting the manufacturing industry as the major industry that absorbs labor force in the Yangtze River Delta area? What is the current situation of the labor force absorption of the service industry in the Yangtze River Delta area? And how will future of the development of the service industry and the employment structure evolvement in this area be? This study will carry out the research on these questions in the methods of the elasticity analysis and employment deviation degree analysis according to the statistical data and try to point out the structure problems accompanied by the development of the service industry in the Yangtze River Delta area and to present policy proposals to cope with those problems.},
