First, the current Web-searching studies are reviewed from the perspective of: (1) Web-searching characteristics; (2) the process model for how users evaluate Web resources. Secondly, we investigated information seeking processes using the Web search engine and online public access catalogue (OPAC) system by undergraduate students, through an experiment and its protocol analysis.
