| 内容記述 | 電子メール、IP 電話、チャット、ビデオ会議、blog、SNS(Social Network Site)など、ネットワークを介して複数の人間がコミュニケーションを行うための形態には様々なものがある。これらの中で、物理的に離れた地点にいる人間同士が、相手の顔を見ながらリアルタイムで会話を行うような状況(遠隔多地点ビデオ会議)は、現実世界のコミュニケーションに最も近い。このような環境において、少人数コミュニケーションに適した多地点通信方式であるXCAST を利用することで、簡単に遠隔コミュニケーション環境を構築することができる。本研究では、実際にXCAST を用いたコミュニケーションを普及させることを目指し、どのようなプロモーション活動を行えば、多数の人間に利用してもらうことができるか検討を行った。そして、イベントの開催を通して、実際に多数の人間をネットワーク上に集め、コミュニケーションを行ってもらう機会を設けた。このイベントに対する参加者の感想や、通信トラフィックなどのデータを通して、プロモーションイベントとしての評価を行った。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | There are various ways to communicate each other with computer-network among multiple people such as E-mail, IP phone service, chat, video conference system, blog, and SNS(Social Network Site). It’s the most similar situation to the real one that people talk and see the expression on someone's face in real-time by the Internet, which is called “multi-point remote video conference”. Using XCAST, which is multi-point communication protocol targeting at small-group communication, people can construct a remote communication environment readily. It’s the our goal that popularize the communication based XCAST, so we examine about how to conduct promotional activities. We provide opportunities to give the XCAST-beginners an online communication chance through the promotion event named “XCAST MATSURI”, and evaluate the promotional activities on the basis of impression of participant and network traffic data | |||||
