Furthermore, the treatment of sample C02 using a Sulfix reagent became worse the measurement precision of 14C and δ13C values probably due to isotopic fractionation during reaction of sample CO2 with Sulfix. From the results, the best sample preparation method for 14C ages and δl3C analysis could be that a sample is combusted with CuO, Cu and Ag by stepwise heating.
