| 内容記述 | This paper studies labor migration and income distribution in Urban China. Using the datasets of China Urban Labor Survey (CULS) 2000 and 2005, it analyses the structural change of urban labor market and its impact on employment and income distribution. The paper mainly answers five questions: (1) How many rural migrant workers working in urban informal sector? (2) What kind jobs are the migrant workers doing? (3) How large is the wage difference between urban workers and rural migrant workers and what are the impacts of the wage difference on urban income distribution? (4) What is effect of the labor market changes on urban income inequality? | |||||
