| 内容記述 | This article provides the transcription and Japanese translation of a manuscript of "Copy of the Conference report regarding the appointment of the royal members and the officials in Lesser Era 1144 (1782)(สำเนา คำปฤกษา เรื่องตั้งพระบรมวงศานุวงศและข้าราชการ จ.ศ.๑๑๔๔ (พ.ศ. ๒๓๒๕))" with commentaries. In this document, immediately after the founding of Rattanakosin Siam in 1782, consulted by King Rama I, the officials recommended appointing six royal members and seventy-three officials to new posts as rewards for their achievement in founding the new kingdom. Therefore, it is one of the most important sources on the members of the King Rama I administration. The transcription of this article is based on a Thai manuscript maintained at the National Library in Thailand [NL. CMH. R.I. C.S. 1144, no.1]. A previous study [Nithi 2004(1986)] based on this document has argued that most of the members of the King Rama I administration were of noble families from the Ayutthaya period. However, this document provides only one official's family information. Additionally, as the commentaries show, Nithi was able to identify only five of the seventy-three officials as members of noble families, and guess that six others were members of noble families, by using later and uncertain sources. Instead, this document might imply that they were newly emerging figures rather than descendants of noble families from the Ayutthaya period because, not only in it but also in other sources, they hardly announced their family information at all. Given that fact, it is necessary to further analyze the nature of the King Rama I administration. | |||||
