The zone of meters above the sea level 10 meters of the fan end becomes the zone where subsurface water springs out. The village sites from the middle phase of the late Jomon to the final Jomon are concentrated in the zone of meters above the sea level 10 meters. The community of the Tedori River alluvial fan consisted of those villages. The community continued for 1500 years from the Magae type of c.1900‒c.1700 cal BC to the Shibayama-demura type of c.500‒c.400 cal BC. The Jomon people used a forest resource in the form that did not destroy natural environments in Tedori River alluvial fan, and were self-sufficient in water, food and fuel. The resources use of Jomon people was environmental non-destructiveness type.
