The psychotherapy then proceeded to the stage where, though Case A and Case B had certain differences of degrees in their autism, fixation, and interest, both cases were submitted to the same treatment-setting according to the results of close observation, simultaneously and in parallel. The psychotherapy were divided into five periods : a year from the first to the third periods was the term of individual treatment chiefly in the play-treatment rooms; two years covering the fourth and fifth periods were the term of the combination of the guidance in the day nursery and the individual treatment. The results thus obtained are : (1) Favorable turn was observed in A and B, in such respects as development of speech and subsequent enlargement of communication, decrease of autism and fixation, increase of imitation behaviors, amplification of feeling expression, enlargement of zest and interest, development of drawing and painting, establishment of living habits. (2) As the results of the psychotherapy that was made on the same scene, mutual interferences and mutual imitation behaviors between A and B have increased, both of them giving favorable influences to each others. 内容記述 This treatise is the study of the development and psychotherapic treatment of autistic identical twins. Psychotherapy, in this case, is fundamentally based on playtherapy, and, starting with the zest and interest shown by the twins, intensively introduced formations of situations and arrangements of environments. The psychotherapy then proceeded to the stage where, though Case A and Case B had certain differences of degrees in their autism, fixation, and interest, both cases were submitted to the same treatment-setting according to the results of close observation, simultaneously and in parallel.
