内容記述 | Two studies were conducted. In the first study, seventy hundred and eighty undergraduates from six universities were Given a questionnaire to assess their relationships toward their teachers. Interpersonal relationship was here defined as interpersonal attitude composed of three components - cognitive, feeling, and action tendency. Selecting three of their teachers at ronadom, students rated each of them on 52 scales. In the second study, 1053 teachers belonging to eight universities and colleges, including the six used in the first study, were sent a Questionnaire by mail. They were asked to infer their students' average responses on the 52 scales, if their studentes had participated in the first study. Five hundred and fifty three teachers responded. Major finding obtained are as follows: 1. For cognitive components, factor structure obtained from teachers' data was closely similar to that obtained from students' data. In the both cases, four factors were extracted, which were interpreted as "social accessibility", "desirability as teacher", "academism", and "authoritarianism", respectively. 2. Eight items in the feeling component was composed of a unitary factor positive vs. negative. 3. As to the action tendency components, two factors were extracted from students' data - "actual contact", and "desired contact." From teachers' data, on the contrary, four factors were extracted - "enjoying available informations,", "superficial contact", "utility", and "intimete contact." 4. The three components of students' attitude toward tecchers were consistent with one another, with negative implications in their direction. Those as they were inferred by teachers were consistent, too, albeit with rather positive implications. Discrepancy between students' attitude toward teachers and that as inferred by teachers was especially remarkable in "social accessibility" factore of the cognitive component as well as in the action tendency component. | |||||
