内容記述 | The purpose of this study is to elucidate policies of the Kenmu (建武) Government for Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples. The Kenmu Government changed the existing top members of Kenmon (権門) Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples who were appointed under the Government of Gofushimi-In (後伏見院). However, it should be noted that the Government of Gofushimi-In, the last administration, took similar measures with the Genko War which broke out in 1331. The Kenmu Government took stern measures against Todaiji (東大寺) because of the connection with the Hojo family. Kofukuji (興福寺) conflicted with Masashige KUSUNOKI in the Kenmu Government period. Therefore, the Kenmu Government eventually conflicted with Todaiji and Kofukuji. Moreover, the Kenmu Government enacted the Honjo-teihai-rei (本所停廃令), a law about suspension and abolition of Honjo (本所), for local influential Shinto shrines. The Honjo-teihai-rei had a great influence on the Imperial family and the aristocracies. | |||||
