Average speed of beachrock advancing seaward at Ohuratabu-beach was evacuated 3~24 cm/y which did not agree with a former value of 3~7cm/y reported by Omoto et al. (2017). And there remained a problem showing that the ages of some paired samples showed outside of 2σ statistical error range. While samples collected from Maibahbama-beach were identified as Porites sp. and yielded two ages of 1626 cal AD and 1679 cal AD (average : 1653±23 cal AD), respectively.
