| 内容記述 | The axi-symmetric viscous flow past unyawed very slender bodies of revolution is treated within the cathegory of a perfct gas. Attention is paid especially for the effect of transverse curvature of the body. From transformed equations, the similarity conditions are deduced, and a parameter characterizing the effect of transverse curvature is obtained. Several numerical solutions of similarity equations for hypersonic flows are presented with additional results for incompressible flows. From these results, the effect of the transverse curvature parameter is discussed. Next, a method of applying the local similarity approximation to obtain an approximate solution for non-similar cases is described, and practical applications to the incompressible flow past a long cylinder and to the hypersonic flow past a very slender cone are described and comparisons with experiments are made, which show that the results calculated by the local similarity approximation fairly coincide with the experimental ones in the present range of experimental flow conditions. | |||||
