内容記述 Although many traffic accidents occurred at curved roads, a full-scale field collision experiment of a curved guard fence has not been performed so far in Japan. The behavior of colliding vehicles and collided curved guard fences are not well known yet. In this study, some FEM models were developed to confirm the performance of curved guard fences through numerical collision analyses. Numerical analyses are carried out on the straight and the curved guard fences under the same collision conditions, because the results of two types of guard fences are compared.
