| 内容記述 | To advance a theory of the effect of computer-mediated communication (CMC) on psychological well-being, this article describes a model that extends Lin's (1999) model of social capital by integrating CMC social networks as a mediator of the relation between individual dispositions and psychological well-being. The proposed model contains three blocks of variables in casual sequences. One block consists of pre-conditions of social networks; collective assets, each individual's position in the social structure, and individual disposition. Second block is comprised of face-to-face and CMC social networks interwined with each other. Third block depicts psychological well-being affected by both dispositions and social networks. In this model, social networks are assumed to be dyad-and meso-level outcomes of action. To apply such assumption to this model, the importance of micro-(embedded self), dyad-(interpersonal), and meso-(structural)levels of analysis are discussed. | |||||
