| 内容記述 | 名古屋大学農学部では、平成18 年度から3 学科体制への改編が成された。今回の改編の特徴は、教員自身が従前の2 学科体制の問題点を自覚し、内発的に学部教育システムの改革を目指し、その結果として学科体制が改編されたことにある。その過程で、様々なレベルで議論を積み重ね、課題の解決を図ったことを我々は広義のFD と捉えている。科学技術の高度化や新しい学問分野の進展に伴い、大学では総合的・学際的な観点からの教育が重要となっており、「幅広い知識を基盤にした真の専門性」を学生が身につけることができる学部教育の実現を今回の改革で目指した。これに従い、1・2 年次を学部の共通基礎科目の教育に充て、3 年次以降に専門教育を行うという教育システムを策定した。実際平成18 年度に、3 学科体制のもとで1 年次を対象として新カリキュラムを実施した結果、今回の教育プログラムで設定した到達目標と実際の到達度との間に相当のギャップがあった。その対策として、授業の工夫、成績評価の仕方、導入教育のあり方、再試験の実施等について検討を進めている。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The School of Agricultural Sciences of Nagoya University was reorganized to consist of three departments in April 2006. The characteristics of this reorganization reflect out own recognition of the problems that occurred in the previous two departments system. The result was an innovative restructuring of the educational system resulting in a reorganization of departments. We consider the process to assess and improve the educational system as FD in a broad sense. Accompanying the higher development of scientific technology and creation of novel academic fields, comprehensive and interdisciplinary education should be offered in universities. This innovation resulted in an education system in which students obtain "the true specialty based on all-round knowledge". General common education is offered in the first and second academic years and specialized education in the third and fourth final academic years. The students in the first academic year in 2006 experienced the new curriculum under the new three departments system. As a result, there was a gap between the level of educational achievement targeted in this educational program and the level of actual achievement. To improve the situation, we strengthened teaching methods, assessment of academic results, introductory education, and re-examinated our teaching and learning system. | |||||
