内容記述 The purpose of this study is to clarify some characteristics of Pestalozzi's theory of Manual Training in the early nineteenth century. His educational theory was estimated at basic theory of Manual Training as general education by Toshio Hosoya. After his litterature, there is little study of Pestalozzi's theory of manual training. So it is not clear why Pestalozzi attached much importance to elementary education in his theory of Manual Training in the early nineteenth century.
