| 内容記述 | The objective of the research is to consider how the policy of information and communication can effectively bridge digital divide in Japan and to examine measures in response to new era of smart information society. The features of the policy for digital divide are (1) providing the information barrier-free environment to support whom with disabilities (2) to get rid of zero-broadband area in Japan based on the u-Japan national policy, (3) the execution of the inclusion policy for senior citizens and low-income households, (4) the significant role of the effort of local governments and communities. In order to cope with the emergence of digital divide in smart-information society, we need not only to develop the new information technology or policy-making but to reconsider new digital divide from the users’ psychological and motivational perspectives. | |||||
