内容記述 This article analyzes the Afro-Uruguayan music called "Candombe", mainly focusing on the process of popularization of Candombe rhythm on the popular music genres. Candombe is rooted in a religious ceremony of Afro-Uruguayans in Montevideo in the 18th century. At the end of the 19th century, Candombe was introduced as the carnival music of Montevideo.
